Flowers are music to bees...
I have a big news!

My organization, New York Bee Sanctuary have announced that Randall’s Island Park has been officially recognized as a BEE SAFE Pollinator Friendly site, the first park in New York City to receive such a prominent recognition.

5 years ago I was climbing the Himalayas (http://bit.ly/HimalayasGG) and I sat next to a flower to meditate and pray. A bee landed and gave me this message "You need to create a Sanctuary for Bees & Pollinators". The vision was deep and vivid, I still remember it so deeply. So when back home after my year of travel I founded with a group of volunteers the New York Bee Sanctuary (NewYorkBeeSanctuary.org). With no resources and just our hearts and a very big vision, we created from scratch this organization and 5 years later we now are certifying BEE SAFE Lands all across the US and globally. We now have over 70+ safe lands certified (full map of lands here http://www.newyorkbeesanctuary.org/certification/. Today is a big day as Randall’s Island Park Wildflower Meadows, which is 28,000 square feet, will make a major impact by promoting conservation of its unique ecosystem, providing food and shelter for diverse pollinators and other insects.
